The Standing Committee on Member Services and the Mediation Committee are pleased to announce jointly the launching of the new Practice Support (Mediation) scheme ("the Scheme"). Prominent senior mediators with expertise in this area have agreed to assist fellow members who need guidance or advice in their mediation practices. The Scheme takes three forms:
- Telephone Consultation with a Senior Mediator
- Group Sharing Session led by a Senior Mediator
- Monthly Mediation Clinic: a one-on-one consultation with a Senior Mediator
All mediators on the Law Society's General and Family Panels are eligible to participate in the Scheme. Priority will be given to mediators accredited for two years or less.
Members interested in the Telephone consultation and/or Mediation Clinic may now complete the Reply Slip and return to the Mediation Coordinator by fax at 2845 0387 or email at mediation@hklawsoc.org.hk.
Look out for announcement on group sharing sessions!
Mediators who have conducted ten cases or more are also invited to join the list of Senior Mediators to help your fellows.
